Juliana Chhouk, AMFT
I specialize in helping people navigate trauma and relational challenges. By blending attachment-focused care with evidence-based practices, I support clients in understanding their emotional patterns, developing regulation tools, and fostering meaningful personal growth.
My Background
My clinical foundation is built on a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. I completed my intensive clinical training at Vanguard University, where I provided direct individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities.

Beyond my academic background and clinical training, I bring unique experience in human development and behavioral dynamics. I spent several years working in educational environments applying emotional regulation techniques with youth, and I have co-authored psychological research. This blend of academic research and hands-on care allows me to view each client's unique background through a deeply analytical yet profoundly human lens.
How We Work Together
I offer a safe, collaborative, and warm environment where you can feel genuinely seen and heard. Together, we work to build a strong therapeutic relationship that serves as a secure foundation for exploration and healing. Whether you are facing life transitions, processing difficult relational dynamics, or working through long-standing emotional hurdles, I meet you exactly where you are with empathy, patience, and zero judgment.

In our sessions, I weave together the deeper relational focus of Attachment Theory with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This trauma-informed approach allows us to look at the underlying root of your challenges while simultaneously equipping you with the active coping skills and tools needed to navigate your daily life.
